The Faculty of Service Industries is seeking to recruit two lecturers to teach on its Early Childhood Higher Education programmes, which are validated by Oxford Brookes University. The successful candidate will be qualified to BA (Hons) level as a minimum and preferably hold a Masters level qualification or (be working towards) in a relevant Early Childhood subject area. Previous teaching experience is required accompanied by a formal teaching qualification.
Professional experience in Early Years is essential. The post requires teaching on modules from Level 4 to Level 6 on our Foundation Degree in Early Years and BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies (Top-Up) programmes, based at our Abingdon campus.
Applicants should have a broad knowledge of Early Years pedagogy and learning, and specialist knowledge and experience in the following areas would be desirable: reflective practice, leadership and management, and child development.
