One year fixed term contract (36 weeks per year).

The Foundation Learning Department at Nescot College is looking for a motivated and inspirational individual to support students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities to access meaningful work experience on our Supported Internship programme.
The role of the SEN Job Coach is to act as an ambassador for young people with SEN in the economic community and promote their abilities and potential positive contribution to local employers. Your main role will be to work with individuals or small groups, supporting them to attend work extensive experience placements.
The development of strong employer relationships is integral to this role. It also involves working in partnership with local authorities and other local colleges to share best practice.
Experience of working with students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, preferably in an educational setting, is essential. You will also have excellent communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to use your own initiative and work remotely.
