We have an exciting new opportunity for a MIRA Technology Institute Centre Manager to join our team.

A £9.5M funded programme is underway to build and establish MIRA Technology Institute which will be fully operational by September 2018, based at MIRA Technology Park, Nuneaton, Warwickshire. The project is led by North Warwickshire & South Leicestershire College working closely with a collaboration of key partners:

  • Coventry University
  • Loughborough University
  • University of Leicester
  • MIRA

About the MIRA Operations Manager role

At this exciting stage in the programme with construction underway, the role of Centre Manager is to work closely with the Operations Director on the launch and the opening of the facility. When the MIRA Technology Institute opens in September 2018, this role will be second in command to the Operations Director responsible for the day to day management of the facility and the customer service staff. The role will focus on facilities management and providing an outstanding customer service experience to internal and external stakeholders.

The Candidate

We are looking for an experienced individual with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to problem solve. Have good written, verbal and communication skills as well as being highly organised, methodical and disciplined. Experience of facilities management and/or customer experience in an educational setting would be advantageous.
