Peterborough Regional College is a large, successful college of further and higher education. We currently have a permanent, full time opportunity for a Trainer in our Early Years and Care Team.

The role entails supporting and assessing our learners on their programmes to achieve their relevant qualifications for them to progress into meaningful employment. The role will include, assessing, monitoring and tracking learner’s progress and achievement in practical and classroom environments.

The working hours will usually be 8.30am to 5.00pm from Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 4.30pm on Friday. This position will be based at our Peterborough Park Crescent site.

The successful candidate will have a good level of education to a minimum of Level 2 in English and Maths, along with a relevant Health and Social Care and or Early Years qualifications at a minimum of Level 3 and industry experience. Ideally you will also hold a teaching qualification alongside TAQA 3 but this is not essential as the College will support you in achieving this as part of your professional development.

You will be a motivated, self-starter with the highest level of commitment to constantly seeking new business opportunities. This is a target driven role requiring a creative person that is driven to succeed. Exceptional communication skills both verbally and written are essential along with excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
