Leeds City College is one of the UK’s largest FE establishments with around 1200 employees and over 35,000 students. Offering a diverse curriculum within a vibrant and multicultural learning environment, our goal is to deliver excellent and innovative education which supports and inspires every student to achieve their ambitions.

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of GCSE Maths.

We are looking for an inspirational and outstanding professional teacher, with both a relevant academic degree and teaching qualification, to join our Sixth Form teaching team. Knowledge of the current Edexcel GCSE Maths specification is essential and prior experience of successful delivery of GCSE Maths within an FE or Sixth Form environment would be a distinct advantage. Most importantly however, successful candidates must have an absolute commitment to delivering the best of educational standards and delivering the optimum experience and outcome for all learners.

This role may be suitable for an exceptional NQT or more experienced teacher looking to diversify their experience and offers an excellent opportunity to gain further experience of GCSE Maths within our small, supportive and highly successful GCSE team. Whilst this role is fixed term, there is potential that more permanent opportunities may become available for the successful candidate in the future, if this is desired.

The successful candidate will be in position to assume this role from August 2018.

Employees of Leeds City College enjoy a wide range of benefits. To find out more about what we offer click on the following link: http://www.leedscitycollege.ac.uk/the-college/jobs-and-careers/benefits/
