In this role the post holder will be working to promote Apprenticeships to local employers – to either engage existing staff onto Apprenticeship programmes or support recruitment of potential Apprentices into new job roles. The post holder will also be required to continuously improve the learning experience and achievement of students undertaking apprenticeships in the work place through effective liaison with employers and by effective networking and tracking of learners’ progress. The successful candidate will have a good standard of education including GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above, excellent administrative, interpersonal and communications skills, a strong customer focus and proven experience of deploying, monitoring and controlling resources effectively. Understanding of the Apprenticeship reform and delivery model requirements would be an advantage.
