Assessor in Engineering

This position will be based at our Peterborough Park Crescent site.

This is a full time post, 37 hours per week.

*Plus Market Allowance of £3,400 for a Level 3 qualification in Engineering.

If you are looking for a new challenge and would like to utilise your skills and knowledge whilst developing your own career, this opportunity will be rewarding and fulfilling. In this role you will be assessing learners (16 yrs+) progress in the work-place to meet awarding body requirements. This is flexible role and you will need to be organised and self-motivated with a dedication to learner achievement and quality. The average hours per week will vary dependent on the demands of the caseload of learners.

The successful candidate will hold as a minimum a Level 3 qualification in a relevant vocational industry, ideally in an Engineering discipline. You will also ideally hold a Level 3 Assessor Award or equivalent, however we will help support you to gain the TAQA qualification in-house. You will have relevant experience of working within an engineering field from any industry. You will also have experience of planning, executing and evaluating activities. You will also need a full driving licence to undertake assessments across the region.

If you have exceptional communication skills, are good team player and have the ability to prioritise and coordinate efficiently, this may be the right role for you. You will be a self-starter, who can quickly develop a good rapport with a variety of people.
