Hourly Paid Lecturer in Foundation Learning (Bank Staff)
Hours: variable (as and when required)
Based at both the Huddersfield and Dewsbury Centres, but with willingness to work at any of the other college sites as required.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within modern buildings, with a range of on site facilities, including a fully equipped gym, hair & beauty salons and fine dining restaurant Both the Huddersfield and Dewsbury centre are located close to the train station, and have excellent transport links.
The Foundation Learning Department caters for students with a wide range of learning needs. Students will typically have behavioural and emotional issues and / or learning difficulties and disabilities. Courses are available for students across Entry Level, Level 1 and Level 2. The Department offers an exceptional learning environment and is rated as outstanding.
The primary purpose of the post is to give short- or long-term cover for absent staff while maintaining a high-quality learning experience for students.
The ideal candidate will have experience of teaching across Entry level/Level 1 and Level 2.
The qualifications deemed essential for this post include a relevant qualification at Level 3, a Level 5 teaching qualification and a Minimum of a Level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy (e.g. GCSE English and Maths at grade A*-C). The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is also essential for the post.
