The College is looking for a driven, enthusiastic, efficient and pro-active individual who is keen to learn and build a career within Payroll. Although this role will function predominantly within the Payroll team, the successful candidate will also have the opportunity to learn all aspects of HR.
The purpose of the post will be to provide general administrative support to the College Payroll and Human Resources Teams. The successful candidate will be dealing with enquiries from staff and the general public, actively participate in the co-ordination of a variety of events across the three areas, involvement in projects as deemed relevant and any other duties the post holder may be required to carry out, in line with the job description.
The qualifications deemed essential for the post are a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy (e.g. GCSE English and Maths at grade A*-C). Experience of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel, would also be desirable.
