We are looking to enhance our team of Psychology lecturers to teach on our highly successful and popular BSc with Honours Psychology programmes in the School of Health, Science and Technology. Our excellent quality Psychology provision attracts a high volume of students.

This is an exciting and dynamic time for Psychology as a whole and at the University Centre at Blackburn College we are reflecting this with a full validation of our Psychology provision to ensure the currency and relevance of our course to meet the challenges of today’s job market.

You will play a key role in the teaching team on the Psychology programmes and more widely across the School of Health, Science and Technology. With UK Honours degree or NARIC recognised degree in a relevant discipline and you will demonstrate a clear and comprehensive understanding of contemporary developments within the Psychology sector. You must have relevant industrial and/or professional experience, and it would be an advantage if you also have experience of contributing to learning, teaching and assessment (teaching or research-related). You will also possess a Masters Degree in a relevant discipline or be willing to work towards one to achieve within 4 years of appointment (Self-funding).
