Apprenticeship level: Intermediate

Apprenticeship duration: 12 months

Possible start date: 18th June 2018

Working week: Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm, 1 hour for lunch, 40 hours per week

The position will grow into a full time sales & marketing position.

Once the apprentice becomes more familiar with our Operations, line of products, customers and the sectors in which G-Tex trade, there will be an exciting opportunity to develop new business and establish new sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Handling telephone & email enquiries

Desired qualifications:

  • GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent) in English Lit & Language
  • GCSE Grade D or above (or equivalent) in mathematics
  • GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent) in Business Studies an advantage but not essential

Training provider:

Training will be provided directly with the companies Managing Director.  Initial administrative training will be given, leading to a comprehensive teaching of the products, their use, the manufacturing process and pricing.

You will also complete a Level 2 Standard in Customer Service, delivered in the workplace by a tutor from Dudley College of Technology, an Ofsted Outstanding Training Provider.  This will lead to the award of the City and Guilds Diploma in Customer Service.
