An exciting opportunity has arisen to join DANCOP (Derbyshire and Nottingham Collaborative Outreach Programme) at Nottingham College STEM Centre.

We are advertising for 2 Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Skills Trainers to join our team at Nottingham College, one of DANCOPs partner institutions. DANCOP is part of the Office for Students (OFS) National Collaborative Outreach Programme (NCOP) that exists to provide targeted higher education outreach programmes to secondary schools and colleges. 

The STEM Skills Trainer roles are to coordinate the effective development and delivery of STEM projects as directed by the Faculty Area Manager. Successful candidates will be working within a motivated and determined department that has previous success of supporting young people from all backgrounds to understand STEM related subjects at our Engineering Centre of Excellence and have access to a vast range of industry standard equipment to help deliver inspiring workshop sessions to visiting learners from across the region.

We are seeking proactive individuals with relevant previous experience of working with young people to raise aspiration, provide information and engage students with STEM.
