The High Arcal School is seeking to appoint an inspirational and innovative second in charge of the Physical Education Faculty. We require the successful candidate to lead all aspects of boys' PE as well as oversee the leadership and management of all vocational studies.

The successful candidate will have the ability to motivate and inspire students, and will be relentless in the pursuit of the highest standards of progress for every student, regardless of their ability

We believe that as part of the newly established Dudley Multi Academy Trust, this is an outstanding opportunity to join our highly motivated PE team, consisting of 5 full time and 2 part time members of staff. We have a broad range of facilities including a dance studio, gymnasium, main hall, fitness suite and extensive sports fields.

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and ambitious practitioner who has the capacity to become an outstanding Middle Leader.

The successful candidate will need to be:

  • An excellent classroom practitioner with experience of teaching vocational PE.
  • Innovative and creative with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Able to teach a variety of sports at KS3 and KS4.
  • Have the ability to draw upon the expertise of others within the department to develop expansive curriculum and extra-curricular provision.
  • A motivational and inspirational leader that has the ability to work collaboratively with  other leaders across the Trust.
