HCUC is a merger between Harrow College and Uxbridge College, with campuses at Harrow-on-the Hill, Harrow Weald, Uxbridge and Hayes.  We are currently looking to recruit an HR Manager to join our HR team, primarily based at the Uxbridge Campus.

Reporting to the HR Director, key aspects of the role will include managing and co-ordinating the work of the HR team to provide a high quality HR service. This includes performance management, employee relations, recruitment, operation of the HR information system and legal compliance.  With excellent organisational skills, you will have the ability to prioritise your workloads, meet deadlines and be proactive in your approach, as well as flexibility and a strong sense of professionalism. This is a hands-on position as well as one of a supervisory and managerial nature.

You should be CIPD qualified, with up-to-date generalist HR experience, with in-depth knowledge and solid experience across all aspects of HR management. You will be familiar with a range of current HR policies and best practice, and experienced in the use of HR performance reporting to drive delivery standards and continuous improvement of the service.  Excellent communication and team working skills are also essential, together with the ability to build and maintain relationships across the College. Experience of working in HR within the education sector is desirable.

Uxbridge College is an equal opportunities employer. We encourage applications from all people, irrespective of disability, race, gender, age, sexual orientation, transsexual or gender reassignment, marital or civil partnership, religion/faith or pregnancy and maternity leave.

HCUC (Harrow & Uxbridge College) is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and vulnerable adults, and we expect all staff to share this commitment. To ensure that we meet our safeguarding commitments we will carry out all necessary pre-employment checks, including undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring check for all successful candidates.
