External Funding/Compliance Officer*

37 hours per week

Temporary until August 2020

You will be responsible for the monitoring and compliance of all records associated with Externally Funded Projects within the College, working with external partners to ensure that all projects are run effectively and efficiently.

Working closely with the External Funding Manager, you will ensure that all supporting records are completed accurately and in line with College and External Funds Audit Procedures. Establishing, maintaining, and monitoring all participant progression, you will also track and ensure all project milestones are adhered to and that all relevant staff comply with systems and procedures. 

You will have day to day supervision of the External Funding team, along with dealing with compliance and technical queries, identifying any issues and producing reports/management information in a timely manner to internal and external bodies.

Experience of developing funding claim and audit requirements for European and other external funds is essential, whilst knowledge of project costing and financial management would be beneficial.

With excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, you will have good communication skills and a working knowledge of a range of Microsoft packages including Excel and Access.

You will be qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent and hold a Level 2 (GCSE Grade A-C or equivalent) Maths & English qualification.

Byddwch yn sefydlu, cynnal a monitro holl ddilyniant cyfranogwyr, a byddwch hefyd yn olrhain a sicrhau bod holl gerrig milltir y prosiect yn cael eu dilyn a bod yr holl staff perthnasol yn cydymffurfio â systemau a gweithdrefnau.

O ddydd i ddydd byddwch yn goruchwylio’r tîm Cyllid Allanol, ynghyd â delio â chydymffurfiaeth ac ymholiadau technegol, gan nodi unrhyw faterion a chynhyrchu adroddiadau/gwybodaeth reoli mewn modd amserol i gyrff mewnol ac allanol.

Gyda sgiliau trefnu rhagorol a sylw i fanylion, bydd gennych sgiliau cyfathrebu da a gwybodaeth weithredol am amrywiaeth o becynnau Microsoft gan gynnwys Excel ac Access.

Byddwch yn gymwysedig hyd at o leiaf NVQ Lefel 3 mewn Gweinyddu Busnes neu’r cyfwerth a meddu ar gymhwyster Lefel 2 Mathemateg a Saesneg (TGAU Gradd A-C neu’r cyfwerth).
