Curriculum Developer - Adventure Tourism Guiding and Interpretation (SCQF Level 8)

7.4 hours per week for 26 weeks (or equivalent)

West Highland College UHI is looking to recruit a subject specialist to develop new and innovative curriculum for both Higher Education delivery and for practical short-course CPD. This could be based at our Fort William Campus or from a remote location with regular updates via video conferencing.

The post will involve the preparation of module teaching and assessment materials for face to face and online learning. The academic teaching material is for inclusion in the following Adventure Pathways Scheme programmes within the School of Adventure Studies: Adventure Education, Adventure Tourism Management and Adventure Performance and Coaching, All BA (Hons).

The suitable candidate will ideally be working in a similar role in higher education with relevant teaching, research and/or professional sector experience.

This is a part-time six months, fixed-term,1 day per week role. Flexible times can be negotiated at interview for each project.
