Year 13 students seeking to apply to university are supported by a dedicated team of fixed term UCAS Advisers who work from September to mid-January and whose role is to complete UCAS references, to provide feedback on application forms and to run support sessions for students. Each post holder takes responsibility for an equal share of the UCAS applicants which is likely to be approximately 30 students per Adviser. The workload is likely to peak in November/December.
