Apprentice Sales Administrator (L2)

Apprenticeship level: Intermediate

Apprenticeship duration: 12 months

Possible start date: 5th June 2018

Working week: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm, 30 mins lunch break, 40 hours per week


  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Speaking to customers and other stakeholders on the telephone
  • Using bespoke IT software to manage sales orders
  • Data inputting on spreadsheets
  • Processing sales orders
  • Order checking
  • Printing and filing documents
  • Providing administration support to the sales team

Desired skills:

  • IT literate – using databased and spreadsheets will be a key part of the job
  • Be able to work accurately
  • Good telephone manner
  • Excellent communication skills

Personal qualities:

  • Attention to detail
  • Confidence to work in a busy fast paced team
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

Qualifications required:

  • GCSE grade D or above in English and Maths or equivalent.
  • Some work experience is desired

Training provider:

You will be working towards a Level 2 standard in Customer Services coupled with Functional Skills if necessary.
