Head of School - Sport, Travel and Public Services

The School delivers courses in Sport, Travel and Tourism and Public Services at Levels 1 to 5.  We are now seeking to appoint a Head of School to continue the success of the School. 

You will lead a team of 2 Section Managers, 6 Course Team Leaders and full and part-time Lecturers. You will be responsible for the full range of provision on full and part time courses, including managing the quality of the provision and maintaining its high qualification achievement rates, alongside managing the developing commercial portfolio.

Qualified to degree level with an advanced level teaching qualification, you should possess adequate teaching experience in further education, have a good understanding of awarding body regulations and curriculum development. You should have a range of management skills including good planning and organising abilities, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and motivate the team to enhance the School’s success.
