West Highland College UHI is looking to recruit a bank of casual SVQ Assessors and Internal verifiers to be based at any of our 10 Centres. The College is looking for Assessors/Internal Verifiers in Business Administration.

The post holders will be responsible for achieving the recruitment, retention and outcome targets of candidates on work-based SVQ programmes, liaising with candidates, employers and various College staff/departments to ensure an excellent candidate experience and compliance with health and safety standards, and supporting programme evaluation, enhancement and continuing personal development.

The suitable candidates will hold a relevant qualification in the subject area (at minimum SVQ Level 4 SCQF Level 8) and will ideally hold a valid workplace assessing or verifying qualification, although training can be given.

Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential in this role, as well as the ability to problem solve and relate to students of all ages. Due to the nature of this position, candidates must also hold a current, valid driving licence, and have access to a vehicle.
