An opportunity has arisen for a windows server engineer to join Nottingham College’s ICT Infrastructure Team.
The role of Windows Server Engineer is responsible for the provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of Windows systems that support the college ICT infrastructure. Responsibilities for this position includes system administration, engineering and provisioning, operations and support and maintenance of both physical and virtual infrastructure including management of a virtual desktop instance (VDI) environment (VMWare Horizon), SCCM, office 365, SQL.
As a valued member of the infrastructure team you will maintain all related enterprise virtual and physical infrastructure including storage, compute and some networking, ensuring that system hardware, operating systems, and related procedures reflects the standards, vision and values of the college.
The individual must also be flexible and willing to travel as they will be required to attend meetings and offer support at other Nottingham College campus locations.
