We are looking to appoint to our new senior leadership post, Head of Learning and Teaching. Alongside this role, the post holder will also be the Programme Leader for the BA in Early Years Development and Learning.  Being part of a dynamic senior leadership team, the post holder will contribute towards the College strategy, working with the Vice Principal to set annual KPIs for the department as well as providing academic leadership to promote a culture of excellence and enhancement. The post holder will oversee the learning and teaching on both the degree programme and the prestigious Norland Diploma. As Programme Leader, the post holder will manage, co-ordinate, develop, enhance and teach on the BA (Hons) degree at Norland College. The post holder will be responsible for the retention and achievement of students and will manage the BA lecturers, ensuring a responsive and high quality service to all students.

This post comes with a significant remission in teaching hours to enable the post holder to focus on effective and supportive programme leadership and research.

You will need to hold a relevant Master’s Degree, have a Doctorate or be willing to work towards one and have a strong CPD record. It is essential that you also hold appropriate teaching and professional qualifications and have extensive teaching experience. Highly effective communication skills and leadership experience are also essential for the role.
