Nottingham College has a successful Accounts (AAT and Book keeping) curriculum at Levels 2, 3 and 4.

The college has a number of sites in Nottingham and Accounts is based in the city centre at the very heart of the city’s thriving visitor economy. This is a high performing area that has provision which has achieved Grade 2 – Good, during its last two Ofsted inspections.

We now seek to recruit a highly motivated and innovative main grade lecturer to coordinate the accounts provision and teach across our full range AAT courses. Ideally the successful candidate will have experience teaching at Levels, 2, 3 and 4 and has a drive, determination and vision that shines through to create outstanding learning opportunities. They will have excellent communication skills, have empathy, understanding and the ability to truly inspire and engage young people to excel and achieve their career/educational goals. The role will also include additional duties that will entail coordination of courses, administration and reporting to the awarding body, so organisational skills are vitally important. The successful candidate will also need to demonstrate that they can use new learning technologies and will continue to update their skills through CPD.

The post will be shortlisted against the essential and desirable criteria at application stage from the person specification. Please ensure that you have a look at this specification attached to the role profile and complete your application directly from this, as these specifications are an integral part of the selection process.
