We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual to join our Grounds team. You will be responsible for coordinating the maintenance and upkeep of our estate which includes sports areas, pitches, grass areas, pathways and landscaped areas. In addition a number of specialist resources will also be included such as a dedicated athletics track. This will include the daily supervision of a small team to ensure high standards across the site are maintained and the effective allocation of tasks. You will also maintain a range of associated equipment such as mowers, strimmers and tools.
You will be highly organised and be comfortable working outdoors in all weathers. This is a physical role and you will be in good health to enable you to undertake the full range of duties. You will have previous experience in a similar role working on a large estate or varied gardens. You will have a relevant qualification in horticulture or associated subject and by numerate and literate. You will be working alongside students and young people across the estate and high levels of customer service are essential.
