The College is well established HE provider and has been offering high quality HE courses for more than five decades. The college intends to offer short course in paramedical practice where phlebotomy will be an integral part of this training.

The College is currently seeking an experienced part-time phlebotomy instructor/manager in Cranford, Greater London (approximately 2 miles from Heathrow Airport). 

Your workload will be 1-2 days per week including weekends. For those who are presently engaged in full-time employment the college may consider flexible attendance during evening and weekends for this role.

The ideal candidate will have an extensive experience and understanding of venepuncture and phlebotomy practice and have had adequate instructional or training experience managing phlebotomy services in public or private health care sector.

The starting pay rate for this position is £20 - £25 per hour (DQE) and initially for 6 months contract with possible renewal.

Requirements of the Phlebotomist role:

All applicants must have a certificate of competency in phlebotomy, enhanced DBS Clearance, occupational health clearance and management experience.

Essential requirements: 

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Recognised UK Qualification Phlebotomist Level 3, or SRN or UK equivalent qualification.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Applicants must be compassionate and flexible.
  • Good instructional and managerial role.
  • Candidate must hold indemnity insurance or be willing to do so.
