We are Study Group, a global business specialising in International Education. This is an exciting opportunity for two Administration Assistants to join the busy Professional Services Team in a varied and lively role supporting International Students at our University of Huddersfield International Study Centre.
What is this role and where does it fit in?
The Professional Services team play a key role within the centre, managing all the admin, student support and Welfare. This role is very much a student facing position so customer service skills are important. There will be a high volume of admin so previous experience working in a similar fast paced busy environment is fundamental. This is a fast paced centre full of friendly, motivated, and professional staff in a role where every day will be different. The Administration Assistants will be the first point of contact for all students and visitors, based in the reception. They will be required to assist in in the preparation of induction packs and other material, as well as play a role in the student induction programme. This role will also play a key role in our student databases, managing the data ensuring that it is correct, as well as other general admin duties.
What experience do you need?
- Adequate experience working in an admin focused role.
- Customer Service Skills.
- Experience working in an education setting is desirable, however this is not essential.
- Evidence of detailed coordination and organisational skills
- The ability to display effective communication skills.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite.
Where is this role based?
We are the University of Huddersfield International Study Centre. In partnership with the University of Huddersfield, we are a successful Study Centre, working with a large number of students from all over the world, full of talented teaching enthusiasts and a key part of the global Study Group network. We are based in a beautiful campus, in the heart of a traditional Yorkshire town that has an excellent nightlife and is commutable to major cities.
