Lecturer Electrical Installation

Are you an experienced Electrician with a desire to teach? If so Havering College could support you in gaining a qualified teaching qualification.

As you will need to be ready to meet the challenges of this busy department from the outset, previous experience of training/assessing (in or out of an FE environment) is preferred but training will be given to new staff. You should have relevant experience in industry and excellent skills in Electrical Installations.

If you have previous teaching experience you will have a proven track record delivering/installing Electrical Installation at all levels and can demonstrate your commitment to a high quality of delivery and student support in this programme area. If this is your first instance of teaching then experience of working with apprentices or young persons is advantageous. Assessor and Verifier awards will be required if not already achieved.
