Commercial Coordinator - Housing & Facilities Management

Gower College Swansea is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and commercially astute learning and development professional to the post of Commercial Co-ordinator to lead and co-ordinate our Housing and Facilities Management training team, operating within GCS Training, the commercial branch of the College.

You will motivate and inspire a talented team of training professionals to meet financial and quality targets, further strengthening GCS Training as the training provider of choice for businesses and employers. Responsible for co-ordinating and growing our offer of bespoke, accredited and market-led programmes in this cluster you will take pride in ensuring a high quality learning experience and an ethos of excellence in customer care underpins everything we do. You will have the vision, talent and passion to drive the business forward commercially, developing innovative, flexible programmes to meet employers and business needs.

With experience of working in a housing/facilities management environment, you will have knowledge of building and sustaining effective relationships with employers, supported by a proven track record in developing and delivering commercial training proposals. In addition to having excellent interpersonal and communication skills, you will hold a level 5 qualification or equivalent in housing/facilities management/business, a recognised teaching qualification and an Assessor / Verifier award.

We are committed to the ongoing development of all our staff and we will support you to work towards obtaining a level 7 qualification within your area of expertise.
