We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable candidate to take on a one year apprenticeship with the Customer Service Reception Team. The successful candidate will work towards the apprenticeship framework including a relevant NVQ Level 2 whilst receiving training and working in the Facilities and Customer Services Department. The post holder will have a passion for excellence also develop skills in communication and IT and the technical knowledge required for the Apprenticeship Framework

As a member of the Customer Service Team the apprentice will provide support to the Reception Team and report to the Customer Service Manager. The post holder will require 3 GCSEs at Grades A* - D and GCSEs English and Maths at C+.

This will be a full time position working 37 hours per week on a shift rota. Duties will include:

  • Providing a friendly and welcoming service to students, staff and visitors.
  • Liaising closely with facilities assistants, security staff and cleaning contractors to ensure the College is clean and safe environment.
  • Operating the college switchboard.
  • Keeping the Reception Teams diary for visitors and room bookings.
  • Maintaining accurate and appropriate records.
