HR Business Partner – People & Organisational Effectiveness

As the strategic HR Business Partner for People and Organisational Effectiveness, you will play a pivotal role in developing a cohesive HR Service to the Learning Group. You will be an integral member of the HR team providing engaging leadership; driving organisational effectiveness interventions, workforce planning and embedding of best practice workforce modernisation, utilisation and development. You will be required to design and develop people solutions which demonstrate a clear understanding of business areas so that you are able to challenge, support and lead managers to make well informed decisions/actions regarding their people issues.

You will work with the Head of HR & Payroll Services and colleagues in HR Team to support people related projects and to develop the People Strategy.  You will also actively contribute to the development of innovative and leading edge organisational effectiveness strategies, policies and practices as a member of the senior HR team.

MCIPD qualified, you will evidence a proven track record of effective workforce planning and the delivery of a wide portfolio of people services and solutions for business areas as well a proven ability to motivate and lead your HR colleagues.  You will be driven, innovative, possess a sound knowledge of the business partner model, have expertise in highly complex employee relations and have a strong proven track record of performance.   You will work in partnership and proactively with managers and colleagues to develop a comprehensive business partner service to support the strategic goals of the organisation.  Sound understanding of HR best practice, employment law and organisational effectiveness is essential as well as the ability to coach and support managers to increase management capability within the Learning Group.
