Tutor in Accounting

CU Coventry is recruiting full-time experienced Accounting Tutors to deliver on our BA (Hons) in Accounting for the academic year 2018-19. We are now looking for experienced teaching staff, who share the passion for high quality education, to be part of our team, and support students in attaining excellent achievements.

As a full-time tutor, you will be taking responsibility for the development and delivery of teaching and learning materials, you will be involved in curriculum development and will be able to demonstrate good practice in teaching, learning and assessment consistent with our aspirations to become a high quality provider. Consistently displaying excellent working practices in learning environments, you will need to have a successful track record of supporting student success and will be at least post-graduate degree level qualified (or equivalent), preferably with a teaching qualification or a willingness to acquire one, within the first year of delivery. Experience of teaching subjects related to accounting at HE level and/or professional body qualifications is preferred. To assist the engagement with local employers, experience of successful professional networking would be advantageous.

You will be expected to work 36.5 hours per week.
