We are seeking to recruit an innovative and student focused lecturer, responsible for the planning and successful delivery of GCSE and Functional Skills Maths. You will have the ability to teach and engage students across a wide range of vocational courses.

The successful candidate will be able to:

• Design, develop and deliver high quality teaching across the College.
• Effectively plan and exhibit differentiation within lectures.
• Be flexible, organised and self-motivated to meet deadlines.
• Provide support, develop potential and strive to improve students’ skills.
• Work effectively as part of the English and Maths Team.

It is essential that you have significant skills and knowledge of teaching Maths at Functional Skills Level 1&2 and GCSE, with a proven track record to provide a stimulating learning environment and exceptional results. Experience of Level 3 Core Maths would also be advantageous. Whilst experience in this field is desirable and you will hold a Teaching Qualification and a Level 5 Diploma in Teaching Maths (or equivalent), we also welcome applications from graduates with a desire to teach Maths in the FE sector.
