Working week: Monday to Friday 9.00am - 4.00pm, 35 hours per week
We are looking to add a warehouse operative to our growing business to keep up with customer orders.
Responsibilities:
- Book in deliveries of stock
- Manage outgoing customer orders
- Controlling outgoing shipments
- Creation of hampers to customers' specifications
- Stock control
Desired skills:
- Good maths skills
- An ability to work well under pressure in seasons of high orders
- Good computer skills
Personal qualities:
- Hard working and good attitude towards work
- Can work well in a team
Qualifications required:
- GSCE (or equivalent) grade C or above in Maths and ICT.
Training provider:
This Apprenticeship consists of two elements which combine to make up the Intermediate Warehouse and Storage Apprenticeship – these are:
- Qualification and Credit Framework (QCF), which focuses on the practical aspects of your role
- For this apprenticeship this is the Certificate in Warehousing and Storage Level 2
- Functional Skills to develop your Maths and English skills will also be provided if required
- For this apprenticeship these are Mathematics Level 1 and English Level 1
- Employee Rights and Responsibilities (ERR)
- Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS)
