Part-time 1 Year Fixed Term, 0.6 FTE (3 days per week)

West Highland College UHI is looking to recruit a School of Adventure Studies Tutor to be based at our Fort William Campus to cover a staff secondment. The role will involve the preparation, delivery, assessment and leadership of units in the following programme: Certificate in Outdoor Leadership (SCQF Level 6).

The post involves teaching in the classroom as well as practical outdoor activities, student support, and other activities within the School of Adventure Studies.

The suitable candidate will ideally be working in a similar role in further education with some teaching experience of high school age groups an advantage. Practitioner experience in a range of adventure disciplines would also be advantageous to contribute to the programme of practical activity and field work.
