Recruitment and Events Assistant
This enthusiastic marketing and recruitment team is working to deliver innovative recruitment and corporate events that engage with key stakeholders and prospective students.
As a valued member of CU Coventry and a key stakeholder in helping to achieve our operational objectives, you will join the Marketing and Recruitment team as a Recruitment and Events Assistant supporting the Marketing Events Officer to achieve our recruitment activities.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in organising events with working knowledge of the principles of marketing, student recruitment, communications and branding.
This role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, very strong attention to detail, and the ability to build good working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Experience in higher education and delivering events as a recruitment tool will be extremely advantageous, along with strong communication and negotiation skills.
The role will play an important part in assisting, coordinating and implementing a diverse portfolio of events ranging from induction, freshers’ and professional body events to Graduation and general recruitment activity.
You will have initiative and innovation with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. With previous experience of supporting on similar events from planning to execution, you will be confident working with project budgets, monitoring and evaluating. The candidate should have a flexible approach to the way they work, be highly organised and be prepared to work in an environment that is both proactive and reactive, as this is essential for this role.
