A fantastic opportunity has arisen working as a Senior Information Services Officer to join our expanding team on our road to become an Outstanding college.

We are looking for a talented and proactive individual great technical ability, a desire to learn and who enjoys a challenge. This is a senior post with an exciting and varied role, being involved in a wide range of MIS related duties and projects involving the development, maintenance and support of MIS processes, systems, reports and applications.

You will be responsible for the development, maintenance and support of a large suite of reports and the college dashboard as well as creating and maintaining data marts, views, functions and our data warehouse. You will be working with Report Builder, SSRS and SSIS, writing reports using SQL and T-SQL against a SQL Server database as well as our Dynistics based dashboard. You will also be involved in the development, maintenance and support of a variety of both in house and off the shelf applications and systems utilising a variety of web based and client based technologies.

You must have excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable nature, as this role will involve communication with various departments, to gather requirements and manage expectations and manage a project from start to finish. You will work on projects throughout the whole lifecycle, developing using .NET and various web technologies.
