Schools, Colleges and Community Liaison Officer

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic Marketing and Recruitment team within the Coventry University Group. CU London is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to support Barking and Dagenham’s new University in achieving the business operational objectives.

The post calls for a confident presenter and public speaker who will be responsible for promoting the CU London offering and programmes available to stakeholders including schools and colleges and the wider community. This will involve providing an outstanding service to these stakeholders to maintain and build on existing relationships and forge new ones in order to meet out recruitment targets.

You will need to work closely with a number of internal stakeholders to support the implementation of events held on and off campus. The skills essential for the role are; strong communication, good relationship building, confidence, excellent presentation skills and evidence of commercial awareness and will lead to success in this role.

You will play a vital role in providing a sufficient service to our prospective students, ensuring that services and communication are efficient and effective.

You will have excellent organisational skills, demonstrate a good use of initiative and have the ability to multi-task and prioritise a high workload.

This is a hands-on role that requires an enthusiastic and innovative individual. You must be able to think on your feet, work independently but also as part of a team.

You will be expected to work 36.5 hours per week, with weekend and evening work being required throughout the year.
