Student Recruitment Officer

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic Marketing and Recruitment team within CU Coventry (CUC). The post calls for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to support the team in achieving the business operational objectives.

A key part of the role will be to promote CUC's offering and portfolio to schools and colleges both locally and nationally. Being able to present confidently and cohesively to a vast array of different audiences is a must for the role. Organisation is vital to be able to successfully plan and implement events from fairs to meetings and open days.

The post holder will be responsible for a wide range of Widening Participation (WP) initiatives run on site, as well as in schools and colleges and the local community.  The role requires a high level of organisation and the ability to coordinate a range of activities including recruiting, events and Student Ambassador Coordination. 

The tasks will involve providing an outstanding service to key stakeholders to maintain and build on existing relationships and forge new ones in order to meet out recruitment targets.

The skills essential for the role are; strong communication, good relationship building, confidence, excellent presentation skills and evidence of commercial awareness and will lead to success in this role.

This is a hands-on role that requires an enthusiastic and innovative individual. You must be able to think on your feet, work independently but also as part of a team.

You will be expected to work 36.5 hours per week (some occasional weekend and evening work will be required).
