The Curriculum area of Construction and Engineering within the University Centre Colchester, is looking for a Lecturer in Construction. You will be a committed, knowledgeable and communicative construction professional with relevant industry experience. In addition to this, you will be able to teach a range of further and higher education subjects associated with CAD, Construction Practice and Management, Land Surveying and Construction Technology, from BTEC Level 3 and 4 to BSc (Hons) Level 6 in the University Centre Colchester School of Construction.
The successful applicant will hold a BSc degree, or equivalent, in Construction, Quantity Surveying or a related subject, and be willing to obtain a recognised teaching/training qualification if not already held.
Benefits will include 40 days holiday plus bank-holidays, the option to purchase additional annual leave, plus defined benefit pension with around 15% employers’ contribution.
