Part Time Campus Liaison Assistant
MidKent College is a large, successful further education college based at Maidstone and Medway. With a state of the art campus, we are now looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic and positive Customer Liaison Assistant to join the security team at the Maidstone campus. The security team provide a first class service regarding the safeguarding and security of the site whilst assisting in the smooth running of the college and its estate. The responsibilities include providing a clean and safe environment for users of the campus buildings and grounds, assist in other general facilities duties as required, including locking up and securing the premises.
This post is based at the Maidstone Campus, although the person may be asked, at varying times, to work at the Medway campus.
- The post will report to the Customer Services Manager.
- The person will need to be responsible, flexible with a positive can do attitude.
- Good communication skills and practical knowledge and application of health and safety compliance is also required.
- Applicants must hold a valid SIA License for Door Supervision.
The post is 18.5 hours per week, offers excellent leave entitlement and a pension scheme. The post holder will need to be willing and available to carry out some early, late and weekend working as required.
