Lecturer in Plumbing

This position will be based at our Peterborough Park Crescent site.

You will pass on your specialist knowledge, and will be developing skills for the future. Within this role you will teach across levels 1-2-3 courses and the key duties of our Lecturers include:

• Delivering high quality teaching and learning
• Guiding and supporting learners, providing pastoral support and care
• Providing appropriate assignment material for each programme and developing our contextual learning
• Monitoring the progress, retention and achievement of learners

The working hours will usually be 37 per week on Monday to Friday, which may include evening teaching.

Essential requirements are a Level 3 or above qualification or equivalent in the relevant area, and suitable industrial experience. Experience and/or qualifications in teaching and assessing would be advantageous, but is not essential. We welcome applications from people in industry, and will provide the necessary support to obtain your professional teaching qualification and assessor/verifier awards in-house.

*Salary rising to £28,855 with experience in the role, plus £6,000 market allowance for holding a level 3 qualification and a golden hello payment of up to £2000.
