Associate Tutor - Card Making & Enterprise (HMYOI Deerbolt)

We have a great opportunity at HMYOI Deerbolt to join the education team as an Associate Tutor in Card Making and Enterprise on a permanent, full time (37 hours per week) basis.

The purpose of this role is to teach and provide good quality, learner focused education to meet contractual requirements and standards, in line with Novus policies and procedure. 

To do this successfully you'll need to:

• Be passionate and experienced at delivering high quality teaching in a subject specialism
• Meet Awarding Bodies minimum subject specialism requirement to teach Level 3 (Level4 - new standards)
• Hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy or be willing to commit to gain the qualification within 1 year
• Must have 2 years relevant experience in curriculum area or willing to gain a subject specialism qualifications (Level 3/ Level 4 - new standards)
• Willingness to commit attain teaching qualifications (PTLLS within 6 months, Cert Ed or DTLLS within 3 years)
