MidKent College are looking to recruit an experienced Work Placement Coordinator to support the development of quality work placements for students across college.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, with excellent communication skills, and the ability to network and manage professional business relationships. The candidate will have experience of finding work placement opportunities for students or have worked in a similar role. A good knowledge of work place health and safety requirements would be an advantage.
The role will require the successful candidate to work with staff and students on a variety of projects to source employment opportunities both internally and externally. There is a requirement to complete risk assessments for work placements and to support students to achieve their full potential. You will be required to monitor placements, support curriculum teams in the delivery of employability skills, gain employer feedback and support the completion of work experience logs.
Good IT skills are essential for this role.
The role will be based at the Medway campus however there will be a requirement to work from both the Maidstone & Medway campuses.
