Working week: Monday to Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm, 45 mins lunch break, 36.25 hours per week
Working alongside the existing school administrative team, through in-school mentoring and on-site completion of your Level 2 Business Administration apprenticeship you will gain the skills and knowledge needed to become an integral member of the business support team. In your role you will undertake a range of clerical duties including filing, photocopying, typing.
You will ensure good customer service by providing a professional and effective service when dealing with queries in person or on the telephone, convey messages and transfer calls as necessary whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with maintaining stocks and suppliers
- Using a wide variety of software packages, including Microsoft Outlook and Word
- Maintaining a welcoming environment for visitors
- Receipt and distribution of post and parcels
- Updating school database
- Maintaining pupil files, ensuring they are up-to-date
- Supervise the signing in and out of all staff and visitors
- You will be required to undertake other tasks as may be reasonably required
