We are looking for an experienced, well-qualified and inspirational lecturer to teach Electronics and Control engineering.

As lecturer, you will work as a member of a team to deliver a co-ordinated, integrated study programme ensuring that students receive a high quality learning experience and achieve success.

The college has invested in excess of 400k in equipment for Engineering. There are new PLC systems and control equipment as well as electro hydraulic / pneumatic systems training rigs and associated software. There is also new CNC / CAM machines and equipment and an upgraded Welding and Fabrication suit. These facilities give Mid-Kent the edge in teaching engineering.

This post involves delivering practical and theoretical sessions in all aspects of electronics, PLC control and electro hydraulic / pneumatic systems. You will deliver to Level 2 Extended Certificates, L3 Extended Diploma in Electronics to full time students and Level 3 apprentices.

The ideal candidate will have a Teaching Qualification e.g. DTTLS, PGCE, Certificate of Education or equivalent or a willingness to work towards, and relevant assessors qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.

Must have skill knowledge on Micro-processing Arduino programming.
