Sessional Teacher of Health and Social Care
Location: City Campus
There is an exciting available for a sessional Teacher to join our Health and Social Care and Early Years department.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated teacher who can demonstrate evidence of delivering excellent teaching, learning and assessment along with a commitment to provide an effective and stimulating learning environment for our students.
The department offers courses at Levels 1, 2 and 3 and the successful candidates will be expected to be experienced in delivery at all of these levels.
To be successful in this role you will have a background in health and science along with experience in teaching human biology, topics including fluid balance, anatomy and physiology. Previous experience of teaching Health and Social care in an FE environment would be highly advantageous.
It is essential for you to have excellent communication and organisational skills coupled with a strong commitment to develop the potential of all learners.
You will be qualified at degree level or hold a professional qualification in the Health and Social Care or will have extensive practical experience in this field.
It essential that you have a Teacher training qualification (PGCE/DTLLS/Cert. Ed.) and hold a level 2 in Maths and English qualifications.
