We require an inspirational, proactive and experienced individual to lead our expanding Alternative Provision at Leeds City College. The post holder will continue to build on our positive reputation for providing high quality provision both at pre and post 16 across the City. This post will also manage flexible starts, school links and partnership working.
As a lead provider in the region, the Head of Alternative Provision will help us develop and coordinate a new purposely designed campus, within the City Centre as well as with other Department Heads strengthen and expand our broad vocational offer. As a member of the College management team and contribute to the achievement of the College strategic aims.
This is an exciting time, for both the College, Directorate and Leeds City Region. The Head will need to have proven track record of leading Alternative provision at Pre and or Post 16 and have experience working with students' SEMH needs and those with behavioural difficulties. The Head will manage various projects including the Princes Trust provision, re-engagement projects and school links. The post holder will work closely with other Heads of Learning within the Directorate of 14 to 19 and SEND and alongside the Head of the 14 to 16 Academy.
