A full time Lecturer is required to join an enthusiastic and committed team within the Business, Accounting & Tourism programme area at Boston College. The area is currently in the process of re-branding, and is looking for driven candidates who can help to develop course content and student achievement.

You will predominately teach for the academic year 2018/2019 on the AAT courses that are offered at Levels 1-3, with future opportunities to deliver at Levels 4 & 5. For this period there will be a requirement to teach 3 nights a week at our Spalding campus to cover maternity leave. You will then revert to a majority of daytime delivery, which will include additional financial qualifications, Business and ICT content alongside AAT.

You should preferably hold a qualification in Accountancy, preferably at HE level (Degree or equivalent), or a Level 3 qualification with extensive proven industrial experience.

A good knowledge of the AAT qualifications is required, as well as the ability to teach Sage and Spreadsheets. It is also preferable that you have a teaching qualification and relevant teaching experience, but training could be offered to a suitable candidate.

We offer a secure package including funded teacher training, competitive salaries, an employer pension contribution plus access to a healthcare scheme. The College’s Teaching and Learning Hub is also accessible with dedicated Advanced Practitioners who provide support to our Lecturers.

For an informal discussion about this role, please contact Tim White on (01205) 365701 Ext 4407.

Closing date:  Monday 19th March 2018 by 12 noon
