Do you have a can-do attitude and an aptitude for lateral thinking and multi-tasking? The Learning Resources Department is looking to appoint a motivated, enthusiastic and innovative Librarian to work with our friendly team supporting our students from Foundation Skills to Masters Levels.
Based predominantly at our Quarles campus, you should be a qualified Librarian with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, a strong customer focus and good IT skills. You will be involved in a variety of professional duties including enquiry work, user education, liaison with academic staff and occasionally deputising for the Head of Learning Resources. You will also be responsible for supervising the other LRC staff and helping to maintain student discipline.
Experience of working within an academic library environment would be desirable and knowledge of Autolib would be an asset.
