The Manchester College is based at many sites across the city, each with its own specialist cutting edge facilities within a friendly and supportive environment. As a HE Network and Security Specialist Tutor you will provide supervision of your curriculum area ensuring that you meet budget, quality and operational targets. You will deliver high quality, learner focused education providing a secure and friendly environment in order for students to succeed.
Knowledge in the following would be desirable, plus interest in developing these areas further:
- Certified Ethical Hacking
- Digital Forensics
- Knowledge of cisco systems
- Knowledge of current fire wall technologies
- Understanding Linux
In order to carry out this role, you will need:
- A teaching / assessing (as appropriate) qualification at Level 4 OR commitment to obtain teaching/assessing qualification. (Willingness to consider recent graduates prepared to gain teaching qualifications.)
- Subject specialist qualification at level 4 (orequivalent)
- English & Maths - must be qualified to a minimum of Level 2
You will plan, lead and develop the curriculum area within the establishment to ensure compliance with the national curriculum framework, and the integration of functional skills, best practice and quality targets.
